Pitching, connecting, and learning: Voxmind at Startup Grind and SaaStock USA
Dr. Saritha Kinkiri, PhD
Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the chance to represent Voxmind at two major startup events: Startup Grind in San Francisco and SaaStock USA in Austin. Both were great experiences: different in pace and focus, but equally valuable.
I had the opportunity to pitch at both events, which was a huge learning moment. While I didn’t make it to the semi-finals at SaaStock, the conversations that came out of it, whether with fellow founders, potential investors, or future clients, made the trip more than worthwhile.
At Startup Grind, the scale and energy were next level. It was great to be surrounded by such a wide range of builders and thinkers, all tackling real problems with fresh perspectives. You don’t often get to meet that many people in such a short space of time who get it.
These events reminded me how important it is to share what we’re doing at Voxmind. There’s so much interest in deepfake detection, voice-based security, and faster ways to authenticate, but it’s also clear that people want solutions that are practical, inclusive, and easy to implement. That’s the space we’re in, and I’m proud of what we’re building.
Next up, we’re excited to share that Voxmind has been selected to pitch in HubSpot’s UK Regional Pitch Competition on 20 May. Thank you to Anna Gordon and the team! Looking forward to connecting with even more people and sharing how we’re making voice biometrics both secure and simple.
Thanks to everyone I met along the way, and if we didn’t get a chance to chat, I hope we cross paths soon.
